Child labour - Peru

The Committee of IOL (International Labour Organization) working for prevention and eradication of child labour in Peru. There is an estimate that there are 2.5 million under the age of 14 are forced to work through out the country.

The major issue of child labour in Peru is a long term effect. The children of Peru are they are taken out of school momentarily or permanently. Thus the children will end up being way behind on his or hers studies’.  If tghey are taken out of their schools PERMANENTLY they will not have the proper education to get a good job as an adult; so they might have to carry on working for the cruel person they had to work for as a child.
For example Ada 11, Luis 8 and Carla 6, whose family lives off collecting refuse, of which the children spend their days and nights on the streets scouring for. Their work on the streets to help their family survive has left all of the children one or two years behind at school
